Priority is given to residents of the Nyack School District.

Residents outside of the Nyack School District may register for remaining program spots after Nyack School District patrons.

Register by clicking "See Full Calendar," using the CHILD's name to register. In-person or phone sign-up also available by calling 845-268-7700 during library hours.
WINTER 2020: Registration for all programs occurring
January 1 - March 31 will open on January 2 for Nyack School District patrons. Beginning January 13, registration for all programs will start for out of district patrons.

Welcome!
Welcome to the Valley Cottage Library's Children's Room! You’ll find a wonderful collection of materials for children of all ages. We also have a collection of Early Literacy appropriate toys and activities for little ones, including a puppet theater, puzzles, blocks, dress up clothes, and a doll house. For older children, the Children's Room has several computers, study areas, board games, and activities.
A child's library experience begins in infancy by sharing familiar Mother Goose rhymes and little board books. Preschoolers and early elementary school children enjoy the world of stories and illustration as they choose from a vast array of picture books. Older children explore further worlds of fiction and non-fiction for pleasure as well as school assignments.
The Children’s Services Staff is dedicated to helping children and their families make full use of our materials and services.
A vast array of developmentally appropriate books, audio visual and other materials are here to be borrowed and enjoyed. We hope you’ll use your library often. It’s the best bargain in town!
