Is there someone you would like to thank or recognize on a birthday or anniversary?
With a gift to the Valley Cottage Library you can offer your personal tribute or memorial while providing a lasting benefit to readers throughout our community.

With each gift of a minimum of $30, a special bookplate in honor of your loved one will be placed in a book in the Library's collection.

Eleanor Byrne was one of the first volunteer staff members at the Valley Cottage Library. She was instrumental in the formation of the Valley Cottage Free Library Association and part of its earliest meetings.

The Eleanor Byrne Memorial Garden was dedicated in her honor in 1975 as a tribute to her role in the Valley Cottage Library’s formation. Today, we honor her memory with our beautifully landscaped library grounds.
