2023 Summer Reading Club for Children:
All Together Now!
Congratulations to all our young readers who participated in the
2023 Summer Reading Club!

250+ readers logged over 5,477 books this summer!

Daily reading habits help children retain information they have learned. The Club is open to all children from infants to children entering 5th grade.

Read books at home & keep track of your reading on your reading log.

Younger non-readers can record books read to them, or Early Literacy Activities that they do together with an adult.

For every 10 days that children read or do an Early Literacy Activity, they will earn their choice of one prize, which they can collect at the Children’s Desk.

Begin logging books on June 17 and end on August 12. Children can pick up final prizes until September 5.
El club de lecturas del verano: Todos Juntos Ahora
Del 17 de junio hasta el 12 de agosto.
Participe en el club de lecturas de verano en la biblioteca Valley Cottage. Leer diariamente crea buenos hábitos en los niños para retener información que han aprendido. Inscribirse y registrar las lecturas diarias empiezan el 17 de JUNIO. Pueden recoger el registro de lecturas en la biblioteca o imprimirlo desde su computadora. El Club está disponible a todos los niños desde infantes a niños que vayan a entrar a quinto grado. Lean libros en casa y mantengan una lista de libros leídos en el registro. También los más jóvenes pueden mantener una lista de libros que les lean los adultos.
Cada 10 días que los niños lean o les lean podrán escoger un premio. El premio está en el mostrador del “Children’s Room”.
