Create a Library Program

Do you have a great idea for a program YOU want to run at the library? Any special skills you'd like to share with your peers? Fill out this application to put your ideas into motion. The teen librarian will contact you to set up a meeting and discuss the feasibility of your program. Community service hours will be granted dependent on the time commitment of the volunteer, including filling out this application, attending a planning meeting, and running the program(s). This opportunity is only open to Nyack High School students.

VCL's Warm Up Your Neighbor Project

Help your neighbors in need keep warm and toasty! If you like to knit, you can earn community service hours. Donate your knitted or crocheted scarves or hats to the library to receive 10 hours per item. There is a limit of two knit items per student. Donations are accepted September through March.

Drop your donations off with Katrina Hohlfeld at the library.
Open to Nyack School District students.
