How to Obtain a Card

The Valley Cottage Library is committed to giving as much access as possible to our valuable community resources during the Covid-19 pandemic closure. To this end, any Valley Cottage resident in need of a library card during this period can complete the online application below. A library card number will be delivered to you via email.

Cards issued online in this manner will have an expiration date. Applicants will be asked to present identification and proof of residence on site at the Library at such time it is safe to do so in order to turn this into a permanent card.

If you currently have a Valley Cottage Library card but are having trouble accessing it you may email vclcircdesk@rcls.org and a staff member will be able to assist you.
