Rules 

  • You can earn five points for VCL’s Summer Reading Program and have some fun!

  • This challenge is for teens going into grades 6-12

  • Complete each task in any order you want and @ the library (valleycottagelibrary) in your post

  • You must tag it #VCLuniverse

  • All photos must be your own

  • The deadline to submit photos is August 10, 2019

  • Any inappropriate posts will be reported and you will be disqualified from the challenge

Tasks

  1. Using food, show the different phases of the moon.

  2. Show us your favorite spot in the “Universe” of Valley Cottage.

  3. Show us your favorite fandom! Books, movies, tv shows, comics, video games, anime or manga are all fair game.

  4. Bookface! Check out the New York Public Library’s Instagram (nypl) or #bookfacefriday if you need a hint.

  5. Strut your stuff! We all want to see your finest moonwalk.

  6. Show us your favorite spot in Valley Cottage Library.

  7. Take a picture of a book (or graphic novel or manga) that has a character you’d be friends with in real life and hashtag that character.

  8. Design a solar system, but with people as planets!

  9. Show us that time you visited the universe of a different library!

  10. Post a photo of your favorite mythical creature.
